    Description

    This is a unique and highly collectible vintage French LaCroix “Notary” knife (circa 1930) which was intended for use as a letter opener by Notaries.
    The steel blade measures 3 1/8” and fully opened the knife is 6 ¾”. There are no chips or corrosion and the blade remains very sharp with a strong snap. The handle has a hard, cranberry red enamel type coating.
