Fabulous heavyweight sugar sifter. Gold gilt to pierced bowl.
7 5/8" long. 2 3/8" wide.
Weight 2.54 troy ounces.
Classic beaded pattern.
.950 sterling silver. (French sterling has more parts silver than American and British sterling, where the standard is .925 parts silver.) Mark: has the Minerve 1st titre; as noted, the .950 sterling guarantee since 1838. Also bears the maker's punch for Lapparra & Gabriel, active 1902-1923 at 157 rue du Temple, Paris.
