Charles Lavallée, Paris Sterling Napkin Ring 2" Across 1 1/4" 34 grams

Description

The company of Charles-Alexandre Lavallée of Paris, France has been in business since 1855.  Based on the address shown, I suspect this napkin ring was made after 1910.  The decoration consists of grape bunches and grape leaves.  There is a very nice monogram, an "A" intertwined with a "T". It measures 2" across, and the band is 1 1/4" wide. At 34 grams, It weighs a bit over one troy ounce,  This was part of a number of napkin rings we purchased at a market in Paris, France in October 2001.  Please contact us if you have any questions.
